Love a great wedding!

Okay, so I'm officially the worst and most inconsistent 'blogger' on the planet! Actually I can't really even call myself a blogger. I'm really not good at keeping up with all this social media stuff. I've had a very busy year with work and find it difficult to keep up at times.

But alas, I thought I'd do a quick post about a recent job for a lovely little family to help celebrate their wedding day.

This is a great idea and an alternative to the traditional wedding guest 'book'. I've done a few of these over the years and this one was done in watercolour on illustration board. The guests put their fingers on an ink pad, place their print on the tree (where a leaf would be) and sign their name. This illustration has now been framed in a handmade timber frame. Just lovely!

Tip: Have your guests do this as they arrive BEFORE they have drinks!...and reassure them that their prints won't be used for evil ;)
